 We wish to extend our gratitude to Poochsitters.com for hosting a very successful Anesthesia Free Pet Dental Clinic to benefit the dogs of GSROC. Dogs of all sizes accompanied their owners to Tustana Veterinary Hospital (Tustin) where their smiles were transformed from drab to dynamic in just 30 minutes. The courteous and caring staff made the process stress-free for canines and humans alike, and dog owners reported that they were delighted with the results. Goodbye doggie breath, hello pooch smooches! We look forward to our next Anesthesia Free Pet Dental Clinic this April --- see you there!

 Calling all hockey fans! GSROC is partnering up with the Ontario Reign hockey team to help raise money for our dogs. Purchase your ticket to watch the Reign perform this March, and a portion of your ticket purchase will go directly to our dogs. It's that easy! Enjoy an action-filled evening on Saturday, March 6 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and take pride in knowing that you are coming to the aid of our shepherds. Our dogs win and so do you! OLLIE RIDES OFF INTO THE SUNSET!

You could hear the cheering far and wide! Ollie, our longest term resident, finally got the home of his dreams! Ollie will be treasured by a wonderful family that is familiar with the unique needs of highly traumatized shepherds. Our volunteers and caretakers formed a deep bond with Ollie, but everyone is so happy and excited that he has finally found love. Thank you to everyone who helped our precious Ollie along his journey. His long wait paid off with the perfect home for his needs!

BROWNIES AND GIRL SCOUTS GIVE COMFORT!

Here's to all of the animal lovers in Brownie Troop 651 and Cadette Troop 1299 of Anaheim! They learned that our dogs needed fluffy beds and warm blankets to ward off the rainy days, and they stepped up to the challenge! The girls collected dozens and dozens of blankets, comforters, beach towels---you name it! They were incredibly industrious and our homeless dogs will be the recipients of their kindness. Thank you to everyone who participated! You ROC!

Improving the lives of our dogs while improving the environment just seemed like a natural undertaking for our dedicated volunteers. GSROC's ongoing efforts to collect recyclable bottles, aluminum cans, and plastic bottles has helped to keep our K9s in kibble! Here's a peek at one day's impressive collection!
